He has lectured and trained internationally on all aspects of maxillofacial and facial aesthetic surgery. He is an award winning consultant/Specialist Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon based at the Regional Maxillofacial Unit, Southern General Hospital, Glasgow. After qualifying as a Surgeon he undertook extensive training in General Surgery, Plastic and Burns Surgery before embarking on higher professional training in Maxillofacial Surgery in the world-renowned unit in Liverpool. He was awarded the intercollegiate FRCS (OMFS) in 2000. In 2001, he was awarded the prestigious Norman Rowe Prize for his clinical research in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He now specializes in the surgical management of Oral and Facial cancer and microvascular reconstruction of the head and neck area and facial aesthetic surgery.
