Oral Hygiene Clinic

At The Berkeley Clinic we practice prevention as well as treating dental issues. It is important that we maintain good oral health by looking after our teeth on a day to day basis. Brushing and flossing your teeth help to prevent tartar (calculus) and plaque build up around the teeth and gums. The build up of these bacteria around the teeth can cause decay, gingivitis and eventually tooth loss.

It is recommended that you visit a dental hygienist at least every 6 months to have a scale and polish done. This professional cleaning helps eliminate hard tartar from around and under the gumline and will help prevent any of the above problems.
