November 11th, 2010After being nominated and shortlisted for The Private Dentistry Awards, the Berkeley Clinic has been shortlisted for yet another award. This time Best Marketing UK.
What better way to end the year than with another nomination.

This glitzy London ceremony brought together some of Britain’s top dental practices to award their success and achievements over the past year.
These prestigious awards are home to some of the UKs biggest categories of talent. Dr Newlands is delighted to have been shortlisted for this category and over the moon to have won runner up.

Cash For Kids 30th Anniversary
November 3rd, 2010On October 2nd the team at the Berkeley Clinic attended the 30th Anniversary Cash for Kids ball.
This star studded event attracted some of Scotland’s most prestigious celebrities including Sir Tom Hunter, Michelle Mone OBE and Duncan Bannatyne. It was their biggest and best year to date raising over £200,000.
The highlight of the evening was when Scotland’s very own Simple Minds took to the stage and whipped the crowd into frenzy with some of their greatest hits. Long supporters of Cash for Kids the band helped make this 30th anniversary a Hugh success.
Raising awareness of this fantastic charity and raising record braking amounts helps to change the lives of children across Scotland.
The team at the Berkeley Clinic were happy to have been a part of this wonderful evening and look forward to next year.

October 29th, 2010We are delighted to announce the Berkeley Clinic has been shortlisted in two categories at this year’s Private Dentistry Awards.
Dr Jamie Newlands and Dr Mike Gow have both been shortlisted for Private Dentist of the year and the clinic has been shortlisted for Best Marketing. This prestigious event brings together the best in the dental profession to showcase outstanding achievement in the dental industry.
The team at the Berkeley Clinic will attend the awards ceremony which will take place on Friday 5th November in London’s Regent Park InterContinental. This lavish event is set to be a fantastic day including drinks reception, 3 course meals and the exciting awards presentation.
It has been a successful year so far for the Berkeley Clinic and we strive to continually improve Cosmetic Dentistry in Glasgow and Scotland.

Dr Jamie Newlands has been invited to the International Centre for Dental education in Liechtenstein to attend an exclusive update course and lecture. Leading cosmetic dentists from around the world are converging in beautiful Liechtenstein to be updated on the most cutting edge cosmetic dental treatments that will be coming to market in the coming year. Jamie was the only dentist from the U.K. invited to attend and we are very excited to see what new techniques and systems he will be bringing back to the Berkeley Clinic to help improve Cosmetic Dentistry in Glasgow and Scotland.

Clickety Chicks
August 26th, 2010On Sunday August 22nd the stunning private members club 29 hosted an afternoon of fun.
It was no ordinary lunch with posh bingo and a silent auction this event helped raise over £15000 for charity.
Clickety Chicks is an annual event set up to raise awareness and vital funds for Action for Children.
The team at the Berkeley Clinic showed our support by donating a prize for the silent auction, providing goody bags for all the guests and taking a table on the day.
This event was a huge success and we are always delighted to be a part of it.
Thank you to all staff at Action for Children for providing such a wonderful day.
