Ceramic reconstruction is an exciting technique that allows a heavily broken down tooth to be fixed in one visit. Using state of the art technology your tooth can be fixed without an impression, without temporaries and without metal. This revolutionary technique can make old metal filled teeth look like new.

The Berkeley Clinic is now the centre for CEREC Excellence in Scotland and as such is at the forefront of both teaching this technique to dentists and providing the best CEREC service to our patients

Dr Newlands uses the CEREC 3D system. This revolutionary system allows single visit crowns, veneers and ceramic reconstructions. This differs from more traditional techniques which usually involve at least two visits for a crown or veneer. Often two weeks are needed between visits and patients are left with temporary plastic crowns or veneers for this time. The CEREC 3D system allows patients to leave with their new tooth in around one hour.
