Mouth Cancer Action Month

Oral cancer can appear in a variety of forms and can affect all parts of the mouth including throat, lips, tongue and cheeks. You don’t have to be a smoker to develop oral cancer. The statistics suggest that it can affect anyone. Last year alone oral cancer was diagnosed to 6,700 people in the UK. Fortunately it can be prevented if you visit your dentist every 6 months for a regular dental check-up.

At the Berkeley Clinic in Glasgow we carry out oral cancer examinations as a part of your dental routine check-up. We believe that the prevention is always better than a cure, because it is possible to prevent mouth cancer if it is caught early enough. If you have any questions contact us on 0141 564 1900 or send us an email.

Our team supports Mouth Cancer Action Month awareness campaign every year. This year we are taking part in #BlueLipSelfie photo campaign. You can view our picture gallery if you visit our social media platforms on Facebook and Twitter.

Mouth Cancer Action Month is a great campaign that raises awareness of oral cancer issues and encourages people to get checked out in order to prevent themselves from getting ill. You can avoid mouth cancer by living healthier life and visiting your dentist every 6 months.
