Dr Mike Gow | Clinical Director of Dental Anxiety & Dentist, Anxiety Management, Sedation, Hypnosis BDS (Gla) MFDS RCPS (Gla) MSc Hyp (Lon) PGCert (Edin) (GDC Number 76039)
Mike has won multiple awards including ‘Best Treatment of Nervous Patients’. He has developed a number of anxiety management techniques to help patients overcome their phobias and fears. Mike has a special interest in Hypnosis and Sedation. Mike also uses Inhalation Sedation as a form of anxiety control to treat patients who are anxious or are suffering from dental phobia.

Greig is the Clinical Director of The Berkeley Clinic and is one of a handful of implant surgeons in the UK who has both a medical degree as well as a dental degree. Greig has a special interest in dental implantology, restorative and surgical dentistry. He has been placing implants for over 14 years with an incredibly high success rate. He is recognised internationally as a lecturer and key opinion leader for several leading implant companies.

Stewart offers dental care and treatment of the highest quality using conventional and holistic approaches. Dr. Mohammed Almuzian is a specialist orthodontist who has completed over 10,000 cases in 3 different continents and 6 countries including the UK, UAE and Australia.
Mo has vast experience in the field of adult and children’s Orthodontics encompassing 17 years. Mo enjoys many conventional options but also likes to customise treatments to produce optimal solutions using a variety of modalities including clear aligners (invisalign), removable and functional appliances, Tooth coloured braces such as ceramic and resin, Metal braces (conventional and Damon self-ligating braces), Lingual (Incognito) braces, and Skeletal anchorage devices (TADs).
As a highly qualified Specialist Orthodontist, Mo is an honorary lecturer in Orthodontics at the University of Sydney in Australia, visiting lecturer to many universities and institutes in Germany, Slovakia, Romania and Egypt. He has also worked as a senior lecturer in Orthodontics in UAE.
As an evidence-based clinician, Mo has now published over 25 research publications and many clinical audits on a variety of aspects of Orthodontics and has written various invaluable theses to his name, in addition supervising theses of others.
Heather Cowie | Cosmetic & Restorative Dentist BDS Hons MFDS, (GDC Number 114333)
Heather has extensive experience restoring patients smiles using crowns, bridges and veneers. She graduated with a BDS Honours, from the University of Dundee in 2007 and won the prize for the highest aggregate clinical marks in her year. Heather then went onto obtain a Diploma of the Membership of Faculty of Dental Surgeons. She has over 10 years’ experience, the majority of which is within private practices in Sydney, Australia and she has also gained experience in oral surgery, advanced restorative and paediatric dentistry. Additionally, Heather has carried out voluntary work in Cambodia and Vietnam.
Trained and qualified with the Australisian Academy of Dento- Facial Aesthetics (AADFA), she can also provide facial aesthetic treatments for patients including lip fillers and anti- wrinkle injections. She is currently doing a Masters’ Degree in Aesthetics and Restorative Dentistry, through the University of Manchester to specialise in advanced cosmetic dentistry.

Michelle is a highly skilled and experienced dentist who has been caring for patients exclusively in private dental care and hospital based surgical care for over 22 years. Michelle graduated with honours from University College Cork with a distinction in Oral Surgery. She has undertaken extensive training in implantology in Sweden, Switzerland and in the U.K and is currently undertaking further postgraduate implant studies. Michelle takes a holistic and comprehensive approach focusing on restoration and maintenance of full oral health.

Kharla is an experienced hygiene therapist who has been working at the Berkeley for 3 years. She has worked in the dental industry for 16 years in various roles including working as a dental nurse in a specialist orthodontic practice and then moving onto training as a dental hygiene therapist at Sheffield University. Kharla has been qualified for seven years and has worked in specialist private and NHS practices covering all aspect of hygiene therapy. Kharla has an active role in developing hygiene and implant maintenance protocols within the Berkeley Clinic.
Yvonne Bryce | Dental Therapist BSc Oral Health Science (GDC Number 270647)
Yvonne graduated from Glasgow Dental School as a Hygiene Therapist in 2017, and has studied/worked in the dental industry for around 7 years completing her dental nurse qualification prior to going on to study Oral Health Sciences. Since graduating Yvonne has worked in a variety of both NHS and independent practices allowing her to expand her experience within the industry.
She particularly enjoys working with patients to build their confidence, putting them at ease and helping anxious patients feel as comfortable as possible. Outside of work Yvonne like to keep active with days out or taking the family dog for walks.

Alison has been working at The Berkeley clinic for over 4 years. Alison started off working as a dental nurse in NHS practices and then nursed in the Berkeley clinic for a year before being given the role as care coordinator. She has had training in implants, Invisalign, sedation and anxious patients. Alison is the first point of contact for patients at the clinic and supports them with their journey through treatment.
