Meet Heather!

Heather has extensive experience in advanced cosmetic dentistry and can restore patients' smiles using cosmetic bonding, veneers, crowns and whitening treatments. She also provides invisible clear braces such as Invisalign and Clear Correct to help her patients achieve a straight, beautiful smile. One of the best parts of her job, she says, is being able to give patients a smile which they can be proud of, so that they can feel more confident. 

Dr Heather has a number of postgraduate qualifications including a Masters' degree in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry (with Distinction), from Manchester University and she completed her original BDS degree (with Honours) in 2007, from the University of Dundee, where she won the prize for the highest aggregate clinical marks in her year. Heather also has an MFDS Diploma from the Faculty of Dental Surgeons of Edinburgh. With over 13 years' clinical experience, Heather has worked in various dental clinics in Scotland; has done voluntary dental aid work in Cambodia and Vietnam and she worked as a private dentist in Sydney for several years, before relocating back to the UK in 2017. Trained and qualified with the Australasian Academy of Dento-Facial Aesthetics (AADFA), she can also provide facial aesthetic treatments for patients such as: anti-wrinkle injections and treatment of gummy smiles.

Smile makeovers are some of her most popular treatments and she can use a combination of techniques to create your ideal smile. One of her favourite ways to design your perfect smile is by using digital scanning technology which helps plan and show the final appearance of your teeth. For simpler cases, she can transform your smile using short-term braces, teeth whitening and cosmetic bonding. This Alignment, Bleaching and Bonding technique is a modern, tooth-friendly method which Heather often uses to improve smiles and rebuild chipped or worn teeth.

Heather is able to put her patients at ease and is also able to provide sedation for her more nervous patients, which makes them feel very relaxed during their treatment.

Her hobbies include running, yoga, cooking, health and fitness. She has been learning Italian for the past 6 years and loves Italian culture but she also enjoys travelling and watching the rugby with her husband.
