Microneedling in Glasgow

Micro needling is the controlled puncturing of the skin using very fine, short needles for the purposes of skin rejuvenation.

Devices can be hand-held rollers, stampers or electronic devices.  Both are made up of fine needles and vary in lengths from 0.5-2.5mm and they all do the same thing.

What is microneedling?

Microneedling is used to stimulate the deeper layers of the skin to encourage the fibroblast cells to make more collagen and elastin as well as increase cellular turnover.

The results are glowing, rejuvenated skin with repeated treatments creating a plumper, smoother skin.

The microneedling process

Microneedling is the process of creating thousands of micro traumas to the skin and is a great way to deliver safe active ingredients.

This process is called Mesotherapy.

It can be delivered through a needle method or with serum ampoules as you needle.

Treatment is carried out every 6 weeks for the first 3-6 treatments and then every 3-6 months thereafter.

All skin types can benefit from Microneedling with exceptional results for:

  • Scarred skin
  • Aged/Dull Skin
  • Pigmented Skin
